The opening of photo exhibition Infrastructure modernization projects in Latvijas dzelzceļš with EU co-funding will take place on 11 June at 13:00 in railway station Rēzekne 2.
In the exhibition will be displayed pictures and information on current projects and implemented railway development projects in East-West rail corridor – Replacement of turnouts, Modernization of train traffic control system, Modernization of rolling stock heated axle-box detection system, Construction of reception yard in station Rēzekne 2.
This photo exhibition is a touring exhibition and after some time it will be displayed in Krustpils railway station, as well as in other stations of East-West corridor.
This is the fifth photo exhibition, which is organized within the framework of the events dedicated to the 90th anniversary of Latvijas dzelzceļš. Until now there have been opened and still are being displayed photo exhibitions on railway line history and development in Jelgava, Valmiera, Daugavpils and Liepāja stations.
The opening of the biggest anniversary exhibition will take place on 6 July in Riga Central railway station.
