On 29 June Valdis Zatlers, President of the Republic of Latvia will visit State Joint Stock Company Latvijas dzelzceļš.
At the beginning of the visit the President and LDz management board will have a common meeting at LDz Head Office in Riga, Gogola Street 3. After the meeting it is planned to have a trip with a diesel railcar from Riga Central railway station to Jelgava. In Jelgava the President will visit the reconstructed station building and will have a meeting with LDz employees in the meeting hall of station building.
The First Lady of the Republic of Latvia Lilita Zatlere in Jelgava will have a meeting with LDz women employees to discuss a specificity of women’s work in Latvijas dzelzceļš.
At the end of the visit Valdis Zatlers will meet media reporters on track No.8 at Riga Central station.
