The Regulations on Certification Services Provided by SJSC Latvijas dzelzceļš have been issued in compliance with Paragraph 419 of the Regulation No. 724 “Railway Technical Operation Regulations” of the Cabinet of Ministers and on the basis of LDz and Commonwealth Railway Transport Council (CSZT) Agreement of 13 September 1996 on the status of an associate member, by which LDz was granted the rights of the railway administration (within the meaning of CSZT documents), and valid CSZT normative documents on the rights of production, modernization and repair of rolling stock or its parts.
