ARTIS GRINBERGS

Chairman of the Board

Artis Grinbergs was Chairman of the Council at JSC “Pasažieru Vilciens” and Deputy Chairman of the Council of JSC Sakret Holdings, in the past he has worked on the Board of the Freeport of Riga and held other senior positions in private and public sectors. Artis Grinbergs holds Master’s degree in Management from the Faculty of Business, Management and Economics of the University of Latvia and is pursuing his doctoral studies in business administration at BA School of Business and Finance.

Term of office: from 10.06.2024. until the election of a new Board Member, but no longer than one year.

 

RINALDS PĻAVNIEKS

Member of the Board

R. Plavnieks has had extensive career in GEFCO SA Group (France), where he managed various business units in the Baltic countries (GEFCO Baltic Ltd.), held the position of Business Development Manager in the United Kingdom (GEFCO United Kingdom LTD) and served as the Global Account Manager at the Group’s headquarters in France (GEFCO SA). Additionally he has been lecturer at Riga Technical University and the Latvian Maritime Academy. Since 2021, has been a member of the Board at SJSC “Latvijas dzelzceļš,” and from February 9, 2023, to June 10, 2024, held the position of Chairman of the Board.

Term of office: 20.07.2023 through 19.07.2028 (5 years).

 

MĀRTIŅŠ ĶEŅĢIS

Member of the Board

Mārtiņš Ķeņģis’ past work experience has been related to strategic development and management of several manufacturing and construction companies, as well as large-scale project management. Among others, Mārtiņš Ķeņģis has worked at Citrus Solutions Ltd., Cross Timber Systems Ltd. and Skonto Group Ltd.

Mārtiņš Ķenģis holds a Professional Master’s Degree in Project Management from the Faculty of Economics and Management of the University of Latvia. He also has a higher professional education degree from the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics of the University of Latvia.

Term of office: from 01.07.2024 until 30.06.2029 (5 years)
